You will need to get your TN fishing license before your trip. You can do that on the TWRA website.

You need to bring weather appropriate clothing. If it calls for rain, we will still go fishing (that can be some of the best times to be out).

In the spring, summer and fall we recommend wearing sandals and shorts or quick drying pants - we will be in boats but you may find yourself wanting to get out to wet wade and cool off.

Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are recommended.

We do not provide alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. WE DO NOT ALLOW GLASS BOTTLES.

On half day trips we do not provide food, so if you need snacks, you will have to bring those yourself.

Outside of that, all equipment will be provided!

At Music City Anglers we depend on healthy fisheries to make a living. As a commercial fishing operation, if we were to take fish on every one of our guide trips, we would make a serious dent in the fish populations, resulting in an inferior fishing experience for future clients and other people enjoying the resource. Due to this, we practice STRICT CATCH AND RELEASE.

However, we are more than happy to teach you techniques to catch fish on your own and your guide will happily instruct you on local harvest regulations. With that knowledge, you can come back and harvest fish as you see fit.

Due to the diversity of fishing in our area we offer trips on numerous different waters. We can be fishing 15 minutes from downtown, or two hours from downtown and everything in between.

Our team will contact you upon booking to determine what will work best for you given your schedule, abilities and goals from your trip.

We do not offer transportation to and from our determined meeting location. We will work with you to establish a location that works best for your schedule and needs.

If you do not have transportation, we can offer trips that are in reasonable range for an Uber or Lyft.

All trips require a $200 deposit. The deposit is refundable up to one month before your trip.

Cancellation within one month or less of your trip will relieve you of any obligation to pay the remaining balance of the full trip rate and your trip will be canceled. Rescheduling is permitted with no additional charge pending guide availability.

Our guides will be on time at your determined meeting location. If you are running late, that’s no problem, just give us a call to let us know. IF IT HAS BEEN 45 MINUTES SINCE YOUR SCHEDULED START TIME AND WE HAVEN’T HEARD FROM YOU, OUR GUIDES ARE PERMITTED TO LEAVE AND WE WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT.
